IPT Championship Day 1A started today at 13:00 local time. Buy-in is 66,000 dinars, it's approximately 550 euros.
There are already 102 entries to the event. You can join the tournament or re-enter any time till the end of the day. Tomorrow is Day 1B, it starts at the same time, 1PM.
Even though most of the players are still in the tournament, cash games are running also. There are three full tables - 5-5NL & 5-10NL. Later we expect that all the tables will be occupied. Come early if you want to join cash game action without waiting lists!
For the first time GT Live is visiting Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Together with our long-time partners from IPT we are hosting Belgrade Poker International in beautiful Casino Beograd.
International is not just a word in this case as our event gathered players from all-over Europe. We're welcoming guests from Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Austria, Lithuania, Turkey, Croatia, Romania etc. Obviously there are also plenty of locals as poker in Serbia is on the rise in the last few years.
Belgrade Poker International started with a satellite to IPT Main Event that is starting tomorrow morning, 11 satellite winners got a golden ticket & won't have to pay the 550 euros buy-in, Now there are 9 cash tables - texas holdem from $2-5 to $5-5 & pot-limit omaha $10-10. A poker battle will continue till 6AM when Casino Beograd closes its doors. Festivities will continue at 11AM tomorrow. The same schedule will be repeated on all festival dates till Sunday, February 12.
And finally an important notice for players. Every day from 11:00 till 06:00 you can use free shuttle buses that are making roundtrips from Crowne Plaza Hotel to Casino Beograd. The cars are white & blue Mercedes with an IPT logo.
